Everyone remembers a big win, and 25-year-old Curtis Knipes has just done it in style!

The talented golfer, sponsored by C&C Employee Benefits through our partnership with Underpin Sports Network, recently claimed his maiden Clutch Pro Tour title with an outstanding performance at the Motocaddy Championship, marking a significant milestone in his golfing journey.
Curtis finished the tournament on an impressive 12-under-par, with rounds of 68, 63 and 67 to secure victory against a strong field of aspiring professionals.

The Clutch Pro Tour is widely recognised as one of the leading development tours in Europe, providing ambitious golfers with a pathway towards the HotelPlanner Tour and ultimately the DP World Tour. The tour attracts some of the brightest emerging talent in the game and offers players the opportunity to gain valuable competitive experience and Official World Golf Ranking points.

Curtis’ victory is particularly pleasing for everyone involved with the Underpin Sports Network, which focuses on developing the mental performance and resilience of young elite amateur and professional golfers. The network works closely with athletes to help them maximise their potential, both on and off the course, recognising that success at the highest levels of sport requires much more than technical ability alone.

As a proud supporter of Underpin Sports Network, C&C Employee Benefits is delighted to see Curtis’ hard work, dedication and commitment rewarded with such a significant achievement.

Andrew Middleton, Director of C&C Employee Benefits, says: “We are absolutely thrilled for Curtis. Anyone involved in sport knows how much effort goes on behind the scenes that people never see. To achieve your first win on a tour as competitive as the Clutch Pro Tour is a fantastic accomplishment and thoroughly deserved.”

He continues: “What makes this even more rewarding is seeing the role that Underpin Sports Network plays in helping young athletes develop the mindset and resilience needed to perform under pressure. Curtis is a fantastic example of what can be achieved when talent, hard work and the right support network come together. We are incredibly proud to be associated with both Curtis and Underpin Sports Network and look forward to following his continued progress.”

For Curtis, this first Clutch Pro Tour victory could prove to be an important stepping stone in what promises to be an exciting career. For everyone at C&C Employee Benefits and Underpin Sports Network, it is a reminder of why investing in young talent and supporting the next generation of sporting stars is so important.

Congratulations, Curtis – here’s to many more trophies to come!
